I could see 3rd World countries like China, Russia and India doing away with returning and maybe even domestic jihadists, but not the UK. As I said before, Europe is way too 'civilised' to survive modern times.

Indeed, those ragheads would take us back to the stone age given half a chance.

Once they joined the Islamic state they are no longer 'British' and as foreign combatants they only have the right to a trial at best, but a bullet in the head is better, they want to be martyrs anyway.

So you don't believe in the British justice system then.

    Interesting.

So you are a proponent of summary / extrajudicial killings and against the rule of law then.

    Interesting.

Wanna know who else is a proponent of summary / extrajudicial killings and against the rule of law? Yep, ISIS.

Can't be true, can it, Neverna, because you can't stomach the source or because you think it won't happen?

Sounds like you do believe in the British justice system, even though it was not designed to cope with spectacularly different cultures/beliefs/behaviour?

    Incoming...!

And what they are aiming for is pretty clear to anyone but the hard of thinking...

If you are in a battle with Islamic State, your objective is to put one between the eyes.

    It doesn't matter a fuck if it's a Brit or a Syrian.

To Brits and other 'civilised' folks it makes a big difference; could be right or wrong depending on which side you are on, but amusing to watch suckers dismiss reality in favour of clinging to the moral high ground.

It's not moral high ground, it's moral level ground.

After all if you're so ready to suspend or dismiss the rule of law then what makes 'you' any better than 'them'.

Please, since when has any ameristani "democratically elected leader" stopped killing anyone because it wasn't legal.

Nothing to do with creating ........ a new bogey man to keep the MIC and banks happy.

Maybe Israel can take them in, they seem to like them.

Ohhh the irony of it all. Which continent, especially the UK and France, have been at the forefront of massacring civilians for the last 20 years all around the middle east and Africa ... for FREEDOM?

Some might argue worse than ISIS - at least they pretend to be following some sort of law when they do it, even if it is a saudi madrasas taught bastardisation of the so called law.

Not at all, the rule of law is what stabilises, secures and separates what we have from what could otherwise be. But one perspective suggests it should be modified to address changing times.
