The American Taliban at it's finest with Mike Huckabee stealing the limelight.

We can expect a lot more of this kind of vile rhetoric from the rethugs now that Donald Trump has found success with his despicable tactics.

A while back the predictions were that Trump's idiotic blathering would cause the other GOP hopefuls to distance themselves from him and stop being so stupid.

    Funny old world isn't it...

Iran: Obama Admin Lying About Nuclear Deal for ‘Domestic Consumption’

    Imagine that!

"U.S. downplays Iranian victory to ‘soothe’ fear over deal"

"Senior Iranian officials are accusing the Obama administration of lying about the details of the recent nuclear accord in order to soothe fears among U.S. lawmakers and Americans about the implications of the deal, which will release billions of dollars to the Islamic Republic while temporarily freezing its nuclear program, according to reports from Iran’s state-controlled media.

As Secretary of State John Kerry and other senior Obama administration figures launch a full-court press to convince Congress to approve the deal, Iranian leaders are dismissing the rhetoric as “aimed at domestic consumption.”

It will be an utmost disaster for the US if it reneges on the Iran deal- and the 'establishment' fully knows this, for they are not stoopid. The EU will nor renege, neither will China, Russia, the UN or any other interested parties of any significance. The sanctions, having already been overturned by the UN, will not be able to be reinstated by US bluster. So the US will be left at odds with the rest of the world, and furthermore missing out on the many economic opportunities offered by the opening up of Iran- opportunities other nations will seize with alacrity. The damage to the US (and, by inference, Israel), priceless. Just plain ain't gonna happen. Btw-

Jewish Americans support the Iran nuclear deal - The Washington Post

The LA Jewish Journal survey released Thursday found that 48 percent of Jews support the deal while 28 percent oppose it and 25 percent hadn't heard enough to form an opinion. The survey described key parts of the deal, which lifts major economic sanctions against Iran in exchange for Iran restricting its nuclear program in a way that makes it harder for it to produce nuclear weapons.

Jewish support for the deal was 20 percentage points higher than for Americans overall, according to a side-by-side poll of the general public. A separate question found 54 percent of Jews saying Congress should approve the deal, while 35 percent want Congress to block it. Both polls were conducted by telephone in the week after the deal was announced among 500 respondents each.

    This is a hard call.

    Really.

Should I support Israel, modern advanced society, fighting for their existence being only democracy in the region. Or should I support euro socialists, backward losers, and mullahs? Yeah very difficult choice.

Well, if you have to be on the side of the conventional 'thinking' these days where it's getting more and more dangerous for a Jew to live in Europe, perhaps grab your spray paint and write some graffiti on a few Synagogues? Move 'em along to the ovens...

Morgan Freeman, Jack Black and a host of other celebrities have starred in a video backing the US nuclear deal with Iran, wise-cracking their way through an often surreal mixture of Hollywood, politics and diplomacy.

Our New Partners In Peace: Iranian Terror-Master Visits Moscow, In Defiance of International Travel Ban

See, if we give them the bomb, they're gonna solve all of our ME problems for us.

Starting with the problem of Israel.

The shadowy Iranian Quds Force commander Qassem Soleimani recently visited Moscow to meet with senior Russian leaders, according to two Western intelligence sources, despite a travel ban and U.N. Security Council resolutions barring him from leaving Iran.

On July 24, one week before Secretary of State John Kerry testified to the Senate Armed Services Committee and faced questions about the newly struck nuclear deal, Soleimani arrived in Moscow for meetings with Russian Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu and President Vladimir Putin...

Soleimani was first designated a terrorist and sanctioned by the U.S. in 2005 for his role as a supporter of terrorism."

    The resolution text is:

"Calls upon all States also to exercise vigilance and restraint regarding the entry into or transit through their territories of individuals........ "

    http://www.treasury.gov/resource-cen...ments/1747.pdf

There is no "exit ban" from Iran, at all. One call also define "restraint" as "being under control". I suspect that his visit to Russia was pretty heavily "controlled".

How does that relate to a visit to Russia, or are you suggesting the "Exceptional" US laws have no geographical boundaries?

McConnell to Obama: Stop demonizing Iran deal opponents Umm, right. Joke of the day- "Presidential hopeful Sen. Ted Cruz, R-Texas, said the pact would make the Obama administration "the world's leading financier of radical Islamic terrorism" because lifting the sanctions would restore money to Iran that it could use to support terrorist groups it sponsors. Another GOP presidential contender, former Arkansas Gov. Mike Huckabee, said Obama is marching Jews "to the door of the oven" — a reference to both the Holocaust and Israel's strong opposition to the agreement. On Wednesday, Sen. John McCain, R-Ariz., said of Obama, "He's carrying on in the finest traditions of Neville Chamberlain," the British prime minister best known for unsuccessfully trying to appease Germany's Adolf Hitler before World War II."

Some people believe Chamberlain did exactly what was required. To gain time to rebuild and equip Britain with a force capable of withstanding an invasion. He appears to have accomplished that task.

^ Indeed- Chamberlain got a raw deal from history. He bought the time, Churchill got the glory. And then promptly got voted out.

A bit of a stretch I would say. His offensive to take Mosul stalled completely.
