Threads not opening at latest post

I have cleared all cookies, but each time a thread is opened it does not open at the latest thread. e.g. if there are 20 pages on a thread, it will open at say page 10 and i then have to move to the latest page and post.

is it the forum, or is it me?

It almost always opens on the page before the last page for me, and it's been that way for ages.
