    DNS problems are common here.
The locals do like to fiddle about and upset everything

I am using OpenDNS, so the local DNS servers are not the issue, which is 90% of the problems here

Try using Google public DNS servers 8.8.8.8 & 8.8.4.4
    They seem to work OK

it's quite strange, if I don't use the proxy, I don't have any connection, most servers will die

only teakdoor.com seems to be working and a few others,

I suspect the ISP is fucking around the routing table or their government proxy are filtering too much

Dunno, I think it is a Thai end problem, every browser I am using is taking just about everything from whats cached, if I want to go into a deep uncached thread I aint got a chance unless I hard refresh the url.

Also having problems with several sites ( but not all )

Teak Door o.k except ( twilight zone music ) one hour ago couldn't open this thread ? All others o.k except this.

Ran some litmus tests and found xhamster working fine ( as usual ) but sexyasiancams only downloading the girl to 98% then freezing. Very frustrating.

You tube o.k but other music sites also freezing.

Whatever it was is seems to have resolved itself now and firing on all cylinders.

I know what you mean and maybe 98% is a bit high but unfortunately what I meant was that without the full 100% you don't see nout at all. Just rapid progress to 98 % then brick wall. Most peculiar, as are some of the girls antics.

I chatted with the people at TOT a while back out here in Esarn and they said that one of their biggest problems in the countryside is people stealing the cables. The funny thing was just a few days later they had some video on channel 3 news from Ayuttaya of a guy they caught stealing cable. So if your net and phone are down a bit longer than usual and you happen to be way out in nowheresville that might be it.
