What is the Asian league table of who looks down on who?

Singapore/Hong Kong
Korea
Taiwan
China
Malaysia
Thailand
Indonesia/Vietnam/Burma/Philippines/Cambodia/Laos/North Korea

I think a more accurate statement would be all Asians look down on everyone. Status among Asians and everyone else in the world is rated by total power and money.

I think this is a fair asessment, from what i can see, most asian countries dont think any other country exist outside their own.

In some ways, it is a touching comment on humanity, and underscores our common origins. We all, regardless of race, creed, colour or religion look down on everyone else who is not of our race, creed colour or religion....

Tricky one that my friend. As an absolute number they are certainly the worlds biggest donor. But as a percentage of GNP - they are actually quite far down the list - just above Greece if that makes you feel any better:

...and, just to be clear - high explosives dropped foma great height don't really count as "aid"....

Thais looks down on each other too and I don't mean the Hi So factor. Central Thais regard the southerners as untrustworthy and so on...

They all look down on each other. The Japanese think they are the master Race. The Thais know they are for certain, especially after declaring war on America and having never been defeated.

The ranking of other Asian countries varies but I think just about everyone sees Pakistanis as the lowest, for some incomprehensible reason.

I find that pretty funny

I don't think nations generally admit to 'looking up' to neighbouring nations in Asia or anywhere even if they privately know what the regional pecking order is. I mean Kiwis don't admit to looking up to Australians either. Generally the more bitterly one nation speaks of a neighbour the more inferior they feel under the skin. I was more meaning what is the league table of respectability from an objective viewpoint if say you had to take an Asian girlfriend back to Farangland and show her off.
