Quite so, examples on this thread -

(1) Proclaiming an unbroken run of 'success' in business, only to admit a 1M Baht failure.

(2) Stating he has never been and will not be ripped off in Thailand only to fess up to having to walk away from a 1M baht 'investment' here.

(3) Claims of always paying his bills toly to start a thread asking for advice on how to avoid a 7000 baht debt.

Dr Andy should prescribe some drugs to Mr Chi!

I would bet that Chitown's business savvy is more than the equal of anyone's on TD- 'imbeciles' generally don't succeed in business, especially over here (if I had listened to all the 'geniuses' that spew advice on the board, I would have lost a fortune).

Being 'ripped off' and deciding to walk away from a losing business are not the same thing- sometimes you have to know when to cut your losses (and everybody loses sometimes)- 1M baht is really not that much money (at least not to some people)- walking away from 10M would suck, but 1M... that doesn't even get you a decent car in Thailand.

The 7K deal was more to share a story and get a laugh out of you guys- as usual, it got taken over the top and turned into a personal attack...

I got a laugh out of a situation and posted about it as I do many scenarios I encounter. Ray and Butters and a few others contribute only rude and attacking posts. They contribute nothing to TD. Every knows it.

But really, don't mind Butters. I do not pay him an ounce of attention - His head is so far up his azz, he could chew his food twice.

I have met enough dumb American conservatives like chitown to make a book about it, they always speak about the same things, have the same reactions to every little things, the same boring mentality etc... etc... it's like they are all cloned

like I say, Chitown is harmless, a fool no doubt, but surely a nice guy, your typical boring American redneck with not much to say outside his limited universe

I have no problem with BF- he's a douche, but at least he's a douche with a brain- I'm still hoping that one day we can spar a bit in the Muay Thai ring and he can show me his mad skillz.

You have to keep up your training or you won't improve.

I can't turn my head to the left today- I got my neck wrenched badly in a clinch during a sparring session yesterday- it didn't hurt too much at the time, but I knew it would worsen overnight.

Ya gotta pay the price...

As expected....such discussions become fodder for the gangs of one-upmanship and valueless comparatives until it turns competitive. It is what it is.
