Am I the only one who enjoys a calm evening without conflict or strife?

It seems as though nearly every thread posted tonight and, as I recall, last night has been full of nastiness, name calling and invective.

Where have all the nice people gone this weekend.

No doubt there's lots of kerfuffle ongoing in the Issues forum, but that's what the people who post there enjoy, the opinionated petty-minded muppet-heads. I have no time for political discussion - Human beings are idiots and deserve the politicians that they get - That's it - All else is bluster. Still, there are plenty of other forums here on TD where us normal folk can chat about food, or travel, or grouting, or the weight of a blue whale's tongue and never once will you hear a voice skewed with the bitterness or bile that is oh so common elsewhere in this soiled world.
