Actually "A" Traveler might have been more appropriate than SEA Traveler but I liked and though that SEA was better in that that is where I curent reside.

In response to the specific question though, 1974 when I first came to Thai for a short visit. The trip was actually made from Korea where I was working and living at the time. Since 1972 lived and worked in Korea for 17 years.

Places (translated = countries) I've been to? I consider myself well traveled but from reading the TD member's posts surely not as well traveled as many that post here. I'll have a go at listing those that are mentionable and that I can recall: US, Canada, Australia, Korea, Thailand, Cambodia, Laos, Kenya, Eqypt, Kuwait, Jordan, Japan, China, Mexico, Belize, Guatamala, most of the Western European countries, Poland, Romania, UAE, Saudi Arabia, Daubi, Isarel, Tawain, Guam, and I'm sure that there were others that escape me.

TR is a hero of mine. I have read a lot about him and some of the books he wrote - Rough Riders was my favorite.

2. What industry did you run a business in, to allow you to retire so young?

Real estate, property rehab, property management, construction, property development, remodeling, consulting.......and a few others.

Dunno how the monkey thing started, it just did, now it's stuck. I feel weird if I try and change it. A KW trademark.

As for posting on TD, I lived in thailand for 5 years at the turn of the millenium, and still travel back two or three times a year.
