Thanks, We miss the place as it is a nice spot to watch the sunsets. I'm still going through the pics from our last visit. I may try a few more video uploads in our Lao thread if I can find the time. I was lucky I had an uneventful day at work to pick through a few more.Post a photo a week, of anything/anywhere-20161220_171529-3-jpgLittle Bits tree fort at the rivers edge. Interesting pics. Cheers Pat.

If going down that side by train, I always recommend going down to Ban Grood (Ban Krut) บ้านกรูด

There's a good fully aircon and semi-proper train that leave Hualamphong around 8am and arrives around 1pm.

The return leaves บ้านกรูด at around 3pm.

Ban Krut Resort is nice, cheap too, under 2k a night iirc.

Will stick up pics or do trip report later if I think of it.

No booze or fags, sounds pretty homophobic. How about ladyboys? I guess if one trains oneself they can tell just by looking, no?

    Very, very nice. Cheers.

I think we might have gone around there in the car on one of the days. Your pics bring back the loveliness of the area.

Time for a Retiring in Bang Boet thread.

There's a tinge of blue in that Devonshire sky. I don't believe that this photograph was taken in the last six months.
