I hear The Hollies, The road is long , with many a winding turn that lead us to who knows where who knows where. And if I'm leaning at all, I'm leaning with sadness that everyone's heart isn't filled with the gladness and love for one another. .....It's a long long road.
She ain't heavy, she carried me thus far. So on we go.

Like many Mughal-style buildings in Malaysia its architecture was designed by AB Hubback. It was completed in 1917, after works were halted during World War One. It incorporates the Mughal style of architecture, just like its counterpart across the road, the Old Kuala Lumpur Railway Station. The building suffered bombing in its North Wing during the Second World War, and in 1968, the second floor was gutted by fire. In 1983, the building was gazetted as a heritage site.

Now that's really cool reminds me of phallic symbols.I don't quite understand it but I see alot of that style in Asia. Go big or go home I guess.
Ever since I went to the ruins in Champasack Loas and heard the meaning behind the name of the mountain the temple was built on I see things in architecture just a little bit differently. Sorry if I put anyone off by this, just an observation. Thanks for posting looks like a neat place. I bet it's marvelous inside. They don't build them like that anymore.
Typical Thai garishness.
Went for a drive and a stroll recently.
