A couple of pics taken in The Mall on my mobile :

An interesting Japanese menu that offers a couple of dubious dishes :

Marugame Seimen for starters and a Bukkake for main course ?

After which , no matter how you feel the following is not allowed :

Saw this yesterday in a department store in Delhi.

It's clearly a more complicated area of the anatomy than I had previously imagined

The award goes to MTD for excellent eyesight ,, I cant read that on here ,,, another green going for anyone who can name which model it is .

BTW I still use this beast everyday , had it repaired and serviced over the years , was way ahead of its time when launched ,, have to be honest the phono side of things sound better than the digital input , but it will still sing away happily all day and dig deep into tracks to expose some bits and pieces a lot of modern amps overlook
I'm proud of my 38" waist , also proud I have never done drugs

If you read up on "loudness wars" and the pressure on music publishers now to provide their content in compressed formats for iPods etc it is a sad state of affairs. That plus the new and easy ways to boost the dynamic range of a recording is miserable.

I have a CD (Beethoven) that is quite old and I downloaded the same CD (but republished) and burned it to disk at all the highest quality settings and the differences are remarkable.

The original shows the subtlety of the work, the republished version sounds like it was played by Justin Bieber on a Casio VL-Tone hooked up to an AutoTune.

Multiple birds in flight against a busy background is a notoriously difficult subject for an autofocus system so the Nikon V1's hybrid system has done quite well here.

This is using the 30-100mm at the long end

If it flowers pull it up.
Judging by the thickness of the stem it's had a few trims.

I was sitting in one of the outdoor bars on soi 22 at the entrance to what was Washington Square last night when I noticed a commotion in the bar across the way. Apparently this little reticulated python had fallen down from the ceiling and was being beaten/pushed out into the street with a broom. I scooped him up and, after a brief photo session, cut him loose in one of the abandoned buildings on that alley.

I'm sure there are more. Some of the staff mentioned catching glimpses of a larger one (the mother?) and also a notable absence of rats lately.
