Took a couple of snaps at the Phuket rugby 10s yesterday. Quite a rainy day, lots of clouds over the hills. Pics are shitty because I was (a) busy getting drunk, (b) busy eating meat pies and (c) busy arguing with all the Aussies I was sitting with.
All in all a good Saturday afternoon of rugby fun
Clouds on the hills and gunk (probably from my meat pie) on the lens:

ground looks in good condition there.
It's astroturf. The whole facility is actually quite impressive, in the background of the second pic you can see the running track and the place also has an Olympic sized pool, tennis, squash, a spa and other stuff.Originally Posted by kingwilly
I'd not been up there before but somebody has put some serious money into building it.
The thing that looks like a hangar in this pic is the pool cover, volleyball courts (I think) in front:

FYI The girls next door were not dressed up like movie stars.
Pretty sure that's a Krait snake.

to play Rugby on ?Originally Posted by quimbian corholla
Ouch!
because many artificial turf pitches built in Asia do not meet those specifications.
Did the pitch at Phuket cost £500,000 (cost from your link)
go figure.

^ Your post showed incredulity that rugby could be played on an artificial surface, not that the artificial surface was in Asia.
Need to practice a bit more on your squirming out of posting bollocks.
Good job you never trod on that fondles.

^It was walking funny, so he probably is.
She?
In the first pic I can see a big pair of bollocks dangling, in the second they're gone,
is it a turd?
Did we talk?.... albeit very briefly?Originally Posted by quimbian corholla
Yes, it's an IRB approved pitch. Less carpet burns that playing on the local pitches in the past. No trenchfoot either. Only problem was with all the rain the markings kept washing away.Originally Posted by kingwilly
Far better than the one at NIST which you may be familiar with.
Even Ant Robertson didn't whinge about playing on it.
My kitchen my daughter and my back yard,
Better homes and gardens come on down.

Superb ! I think you'll find it very difficult to take a better picture of your daughter as her pose is so natural, other attempts may end up looking very artificial and contrived in comparison.
The little girl probably doesn't realise how beautiful the trees are yet and takes them for granted. Please post more pictures of the surroundings of your house as it looks very appealing to me. ( Green sent. )
Why can't I make new posts?
