on my 50 kilo bicycle ride today along the flat coastal lands and coconut and mango groves, I passed the country road meat market, down boys it was a beef and pork meat market, not the Pattaya back soi meat markets... anyway, I thought a photo was warranted. The meat seemed fresh as it was just being cut up but not sure how long it would be sitting out in the open air unrefrigerated before being sold and the flies on the surface of the meat just didn't sit well with me. I guess if when it is cooked and one does get sick then all is well.....

This is a vid of some ameture yanks. They were engineers with tons of money though, I would say yours is more impressive considering you are on a limited budget.

Anyone looking at this photo might at first think he were looking of a vineyard of upstate vineyard lands of California or maybe even the rolling lands of Tuscany, Italy... this photo has in fact been taken in Thailand on the strip of land btwn Shukomvitt Rd Pattaya and Shukomvitt Road Ban Chang. Some may know this photo location as "SILVERLAKE"...

There have been heavy rains and stiff winds here in Ban Chang the last 2 evening. One of my multiple banana trees that has fruit on it was blown down. The bananas can be seen on the ground beside the fallen tree. Anyway, the bananas were just about ready to be picked anyway so I cut them off the fallen tree and then cut the tree down so that the new banana sprout can begin and the process started all over again.

The mango on one of my mango trees have survived and will be ready for licking in about 2 weeks.
