Business class flights followed by four months holiday in the house your folks have bought for you.

Probably not many teachers leave Myanmar in such style.

That my dead grandfathers inheritance paid for- if he's hanging with my folks then I'm worried.
Flights were easy enough when it's hard to spend $400 a month out of the salary packet for two years.

Found this on my almost lost hard drive. Mom and me being a little pouty girl.
I was mad because she was giving me shit for not wanting to share the blanket with the boys.

@TB - very cute pic of you - you looked bratty. Lol

Re: the Fu Xing park pic, there's a metro station in Taipei that's called Nanjing Fuxing. I chuckled when I saw it - I have a pic of it, buried in my archives.

Thanks for all the pics on this thread.

Binirayan Festival in San Jose City, Antique province, PI, taken late December 2017. Binirayan Festival commemmorates the arrival of the datus (village leaders) from Borneo many centuries ago, before the arrival of the Spaniards. The people are in black face/paint to signify the Aetas/ Negritos, who were present in the islands before the ppl of Malay origin arrived. Aetas are genetically similar to the Aborigines from Australia - dark skin, kinky hair, short compact stature.

Pls help me load the pix as I have problems posting from phone. Thanks.

Nanjing and Fuxing are famous roads in Shanghai as well as a park obviously.

    Thanks Prag & Luigi.

The costumes and black paint "symbolize", not "signify" the Aetas. That was the word I was aiming for earlier - apologies, am a non-native speaker.

More pics from Binirayan festival - the blue & red teams and a giant bag. The bags held by the dancers are products of the province. The dancers are mostly high school or uni students. Again, anyone pls help repost the pix - I have slow net. Thanks!

What was business like on Sri Lanka Air?
The prices are pretty good (depending on when flying) - but is it OK?

Sri Lanka Air used to be cheap and had a beach hotel stopover one wayfrom UK. Not so much now but would be also interested in price Manday.
My Last BA Biz trip INV - LHR - HK - BKK - HK -LHR - INV was £1,730 (sale price) pp, as is next trip.

    Welcome, K-Pop.

Was in an airplane museum today.

Think Looper's Su is in there.

The shape on this Tiger was also nicely shaped.

Scared the bejaysus out of the sprog by telling her I'm gonna shoot up the cars parked out front with this thing, then banging away on the switches.
