Off on a trip to "Jim Thompson Farm' south of Korat. Nothing there to write home about. In fact I was bored out of my tree.
Me, the missus and the kids.
Plenty of people. Why?
Plenty of flowers. None for sale.
The daughters. No pumpkins for sale.
Play thing for the kids built out of straw. Yep. No straw for sale.
Give 'Jim Thompson's Farm' a miss in my opinion.
Nothing to do with the exertion of hauling your decrepit, bulbous mass up a mountain, right? At least tell us you made it as far as the top of the little staircase though - that's covered to protect you from the "rain".Originally Posted by OckerRocker

No pressure to spend at all really. Not much there to buy. As for the kids it was new so they enjoyed the kids activities. The place is a working farm. A few, hands on, farm animals wouldn't have gone a miss. In fact from there we went to Korat zoo. A much better attraction. Unfortunately I left my camera in the car.Originally Posted by Koojo
Entrance fee into 'Jim Thompson Farm' was 140 Baht per adult. Children free below a certain height. Each to their own but I wasn't impressed with 'Jim's Farm'.
About 10km from the nearest village I came across this music studio. Abbey Road it ain't but you gotta start somewhere.

I don't know if this a granny flat or what? But it was adjacent to someones house. It's basically a 'Port-a-Cabin' with a steel roof over it. God knows if it has a bog inside? It does have A/C.

That above little pad would be a great idea for a easy up farang style pad on the family estate for a more comfortable quieter away from the herd visiting joint .
Well done that man , could well be a nice little business venture for someone

Fancy one, which mall, it looks familiar.
Gandaria City.
Right after Christmas we had a little snow. I like how it covered our christmas light decoration.
In the back at the right our hardy bamboo.
Indeed they are Pragmatic. My Mrs went all googoo when she saw the pic of the little Pragmatic-ettes next to the pumpkins in their bonnets and matching frocks.Originally Posted by chassamui
