Blackgang, in all my life, as I get older, I always thought I got a bit more "mellow", I started to question things, in a sort of open minded manner, is this true is that true..moon landings, JFK, holocaust...virtualy everything I believed as carved in stone from my school days became open to debate as my years passed on.

I no longer accepted blindly the stories from the media and the hyperbole from the hollywood movies.

I may be wrong, but everyone here seems to be so defensive of the crap they were taught in the past.

Are they afraid as to how they will feel when they finally have to admit that their entire education and past experiences are all a complete lie?

I tell you, it GUTTED me to even half believe that the moon landings were lies...but now I can accept that, but no one seems to really want to get to the bottom of anything, they seem quite happy to just swallow anything as the truth.

Me, I feel a bit cheated, I think I have had to swallow a ton of shit over these years, ans if I can, I want to discover the truth about as much of it as I can before I pop my clogs!

I'd be interested in a list of things you consider a lie, that you were told were true.

Certain things I believe, some things I don't, some things I have witnessed and some were told to me by people that witnessed them that I believe, but I get rabid over nothing and so if you believe then fine and if you do not it means nothing to me. But I am going to put Panda back on ignore because he believes that if he pays all his tax to politicians he can live off the govt and travel in his old age, I believe that if paid 90% of my taxes over 60 years and kept some for my old age and now accept nothing from the govt that I am a free man and he thinks because I accept nothing from my govt for my daily bread and care that I am a parasite while he is a free man living on govt subsidy.
In 1976 I paid $47,000 in federal tax and missed $1700 dollars that I did not pay on and they were giving $3500 refunds to hippies in the USA who did not work and they tied up my bank accounts because of my shortfall, so I revolted and stopped paying, I paid more tax that year than Pandy has pobly ever grossed. so IGNORE for him.

Federal Income Tax… not actually a law… completely optional

Is this true or not???
