Well, there's a branch on the Stewart Highway as you're driving out of Darwin. It's on the right hand side as you head south.

    Where are you based ?

KFC got one here, but is not a real live tree, but a plastic one that they also used last year, and the year before that I think.

Most helpful answer of the year.

Since he is asking this question on Teakdoor - The Thailand Forum as opposed to Fuckin Bewdy - The Aussie Plonkers Forum I'd hazard a wild stab in the dark and guess Thailand, but don't quote me on it!

Actually, I have never seen a live xmas tree for sale in Thailand. Might be around, just never have seen one. Every year we just use the good old fake plastic ones. Seems like these last for a year or two then we buy another B1000 fake tree.

Yup, he's a real bundle of laughs, is our simple simian.

I'll ignore the absurd hypocrisy of his statement given that he's based in Indo. and only comes to LOS to lose cricket matches.

Strewth, we're back in the year seven playground....... yet again.

You really might consider a more productive hobby to pass your time.

Your "life priorities" are very very odd.

Still, as long as you're happy. WGAF.

You could try and make a christmas tree as I have seen in the Philippines.

They took a reasonably sized dry twig. Then they used soap to stir a thick creamy foam and spread that on all branches of the twig to resemble snow. That foam was so creamy it dried and made a hard crust that remained unchanged over the whole christmas season.

    Better than plastic.

Put it in sand from the beach. The needles will fall off & it will die within a week. This is especially true if you hit it with your Christmas champagne cork. Not that I could possibly be speaking from experience...
