    I've Got the Flu.

Feeling pretty shite. Fever last night, hot and cold too. Now today muscle aches so bad it hurts to move.

I did get bit by a cat Saturday night but that can't be it. Unless cat and dog flu has hit the scene?????

Sounds like Dengue, Got a huge problem with them all day suckers 20km outside Chiang Mai right now, trying hard not to get bit.

At 7 am on loudspeakers really fucking loud the local guvnor annouced they would be spaying to kill the critters.

Or a large sledge hammer. Those speakers are a menace. If I wanna listen to the radio at 5.30am I'll switch it on thanks..they even blast out local tv through sometimes..we don't all go to bed at 8pm you know.

Think mobs is ok as far as dengue is concerned. He's done well to switch on the com if he has got it though.

    Flu is horrible.

    Get well soon old chap.

Soz. Misinterpreted your post Watt. But the speakers can be done with a sound whack from a sledgie or indeed a small pair of wire cutters

Thanks for the advice. Sounds like those who got it have had it for a while. That sure sucks.

If you hear a voice from behind saying "squeal like a pig" it could be swine flu.

Sorry to hear that, Mobs. Rest and Jewish chicken soup if you can find any. Mind, a Chinese bud says not to eat chicken when you have a cold/flu. Who to trust?
And why would a cat bite you? You washed off the wound right away and put Betadyne on it, right?
    Get well soon.

Thanks Jetty. Treating illness here is much different than back home. Load up on drugs and see what happens is basically the doctors orders but I refuse to go and get an over priced candy bag from them.

No point. Said candy bag usually includes antibiotics which are useless against a virus.

Same as everyone else said: loads of fluids, palatable nutritious food when you can manage it, rest as much as you can & painkillers when needed.

    Hope you feel better soon.
