    A Lesson!

As a treat tonight, I "allowed" my 8 year old son to watch "The Stepfather 1 " and the "Stepfather 2" Now he appreciates a good home and family! His room is tidy, and his things are in an orderly fashion!

It's nice when children know their place and don't complain....and at least now he knows which side his bread is buttered!

You know, that made me laugh! ( I was joking in the original post) but it is so true, how fear is used on kids, take the catholic religion just for instance..send your kids to a catholic school and let them learn what it is to burn in hell!

    oh so true!

Growing up as a Roman Catholic, I would habitually attend mass every Sunday and would always sit at a pew which held the pole for the Psalms... why?

Because it was shaped like a spear... and with all the fear injected into us, I thought that I could best protect everyone with this spear should the Devil ever decide to pay us a visit in church.
    - The sisters really did put the fear of God into us...

But it was counter productive in my case...as it drove me further away from organised religion.

Anyone from the Uk know if GREGGS OF GOSFORTH SELLS DEAD BITS OF JESUS? like in a pie or a pasty...a sort of Catholict TART

    Did
    Didn't you have to

Didn't you have to eat bits of "dead Jesus" Little bits of dried dead Jesus Bread? "The Host" when they dried him into a waffle like substance... like a meal for astronauts?? Maybe we can later get a Mc Jesus Waffle at the KFC! didn'y you drink a drop of the hard stuff...disguised as BLOOD are you a vampire?(Why would anyone want to drink blood? Symbolically or real..it kind of disgusts me! Rather have a Chicken burger to be honest..but I really would love an explanation as to why people NEED to eat a bit of Jesus and have a sup of his blood.. it sounds a bit sick to me! This religion shit really needs to be stopped...go and preach you faith but please...not in my face! Go do it in a cupboard, or a dark alley, I really don't want to know!

Yes we had to symbolically eat "the body of Christ" "the Blood of Christ" but that was not unless you went to Confession the day before and had all your sins absolved!

Hey, don't go crucifying me over this, I am just recounting my horrors as a child forced into the Roman Catholic Religion!

I woke up to this by the time I was 14, and refused to participate and from there have grown to challenge any form of Organised Religion!

However, I have never denounced my faith in God or my spirituality, just do not believe in anything orchestrated by man.
