Sorry to hear the various tales of woe. Hope the bike gets sorted soon Terry.

My only contribution of condolence is that I recently lost about 30% of my collected pornography collection due to a flaky USB hard drive. That reperesented about 10 hours worth of downloading and about 2 weeks worth of viewing if you watched it all from beginning to end (without sleeping). A sad day as many happy hours were spent perusing the highlights. It's not the amount of data that hurts either it's the fact that it had some of my best and most obscure stuff. I will probably never be able to track it all down again again

but anyway I will have fun trying I suppose

It's got about as much hope as Sinatra doing a come back gig and probably end up with one of us dead, with us hitting the beer at every opportunity on the way I can't see anyone crossing the line in a straight line

actually on that note mate, I used to do a fair bit of riding, particularly with the BHHH Biking group.

They go away about once a month for weekend riding, most a reasonably serious bikers and not nearly as nutty as the running group of the same names.

and this group do small personal bike trips in Thailand and neighbouring countries at a reasonable cost. I've done a few and enojyed them
