Agreed that Thaksin was/is a no-good-nik, but the consistent manner in which 'government' is easily transitory {historically} here and can be taken care of by the casual military-based coup or a monarchal procamation is not {by any means} a democratic process. If Thaksin was so universally detested within broad political and social circles, which he wasn't of course - but instead a small core of powerful and influencial centre created his demise. Why didn't these same folks consider the democratic fashion of the no-confidence procedure in Parliament? As long as Thailand holds dear the militaristic and mystical influences, things will never change. __________________
