Absolutely -- especially when the emphasized on third syllable with an excited, punch-in-the-mouth exaggeration: ab-so-LUTE-ly!
Along with absolutely comes clearly and obviously -- rarely are they clear, obvious or absolute (or rare).
Step it up and its orphan brother take it to the next level are mind-numbingly overused and just serve to piss me off.
Anybody that starts a sentence with the interjections, Look .... or Listen, needs to be on the lookout for a rear naked choke hold. For example:
"Listen, Hillary Clinton is the ... ARRRgh mugghhf umggffmp."
How ____ is that? is a disguised rhetorical attempt to involve the other listener when you clearly (or obviously) have no interest in shutting your pie hole and letting anyone else get a word in edgewise. For example.
"He nailed her in the elevator. How cool is that? I'm the domineering one so you just stand there looking stupid and listen to me blabber away."
He's twenty-six years of age -- could he be years of something else? You mean he's 26? Or maybe 26-years-old?
