They've got to suck it and see for themselves scampy. Sure, inform them of the possibilities, even give them Email links- but leave it at that, and don't get involved further.

Who's to say Expatriating will make it better for them? Or maybe worse? Only them, ultimately.

There's a man back home about 33 years old who's a friend of a friend. He's one of these people who's wasted his intelligence, got the wrong girl up the duff when he was a lot younger and really needs a fresh start. I am not suggesting for one minute he come out here and teach English - I am a realist and I think Thailand would be fine for a holiday but just to get him some kind of laboring or landscape gardening job overseas would be good, even Australia or something.

I found this on Google How to Find Work Overseas but if anybody has any more specific information I'd be interested to hear it. He's only this year discovered the internet but if I can point him in the right direction then I've done my bit - not that I owe him anything.

So, let me ask to clarify: is this guy coming over to LOS?

If he is actually coming over, then the discussion can go further. If he is just "thinking" about it, there is not point in discussing this at this time.
