Alas the conversation and posts from some posters is pretty moronic and low-level 99% of the time. Reading the same-old, same-old gets a bit inane for even my bright and breezy outlook and I've run out of patience with a small number.

I take a few off of ignore now and again to see if they're 'contributing' but 9/10 they are just waffling shite as usual. So guess what? Back on ignore they go

I feel for you. Took one of my ignores off for a couple of hours when his posts seemed to be appearing like morse...imagined the poor chap gurgling and desperately reaching out to the rest of his world...alas not, same old wisdom for dummies so didn't last long and back in the box.

I'm thinking of taking the moronic marvel off ignore again, might do it tomorrow, never know, law of averages might kick in to pay off with something worth knowing.

Btw what's the secret with mods, who are they and how many? So far I've narrowed it down to the dogman (not the insane one), that black guy from the north and his mate with a big cock, and probably another intellectual midget or two.

I've decided to take smeg off ignore.

I'll be putting chintee on ignore if he ever gets out of jail or signs in as someone else because he isn't very likely to get out of jail in a hurry.

The point is that some people like to be purposely argumentative and stalking. Putting them on ignore is the simplest way of pissing on their fire.

He thinks that he is the most intelligent member of the forum, and sets out to try to prove it on a daily basis. I simply have no reason whatsover to allow such mouth-foaming posts to appear on my screen.

Not really. Their intention (if it is someone who is actually trying to wind you up, as opposed to someone you just dislike or think a moron) is to draw you into shitfights as often as possible - to wind you up all the time. If you have them on ignore they know they wind you up, sure. But they probably knew that, anyway. You do take away the ability to keep drawing you out. And you save the rest of the forum the boredom of reading pages upon pages of repetitive crap. That's the theory, anyway.

BTW, kudos to those that can completely ignore those they have problems with, rather than physically place them on ignore. Those guys have a lot more willpower than I do.
