I haven't accessed this feature in years, but I no longer wish to witness his addiction to arguing for the sake of it and smearing himself all over topics he has no genuine interest in.

i did try and put CMN on ignore once. I can't remember why. But anyway the forum wouldn't let me.

It seems odd that people open threads started only minutes before by people on their ignore list

It's really funny when someone makes a big song and dance over putting someone on ignore. Why start a thread about it, why not just say: 'you're on ignore' and be done with it.

Don't know about this function (and if I did), don't need to use it.

I never put people on ignore, I can ignore people without having to cover up what they say. Thats where I differ from others.

Besides, if I put somebody on ignore I would probably be wanting to take them off ignore so i could see if they were still as big a knobhead as they were were at the time i put them on ignore. That could become tiresome, and a waste of time and dogs bandwith allocation.

It wasn't a difficult decision in the end for me to put smeg on ignore.

After 6 or so years on several forums posting the same subject matter post after post in a slightly different cover, it just wore me down.

His best material is well behind him now, the analogies that used to be quite clever, if nothing else, have become stale.

If Smeg contributed anything to the board other than the constant barrage of Thailand is shit, Bournemouth is paradise type posts, I'd unignore him, sadly he doesn't.

I take a few off of ignore now and again to see if they're 'contributing' but 9/10 they are just waffling shite as usual. So guess what? Back on ignore they go

I feel for you. Took one of my ignores off for a couple of hours when his posts seemed to be appearing like morse...imagined the poor chap gurgling and desperately reaching out to the rest of his world...alas not, same old wisdom for dummies so didn't last long and back in the box.

I'm thinking of taking the moronic marvel off ignore again, might do it tomorrow, never know, law of averages might kick in to pay off with something worth knowing.


Btw what's the secret with mods, who are they and how many? So far I've narrowed it down to the dogman (not the insane one), that black guy from the north and his mate with a big cock, and probably another intellectual midget or two.

The point is that some people like to be purposely argumentative and stalking. Putting them on ignore is the simplest way of pissing on their fire.

you simply know that you have just saved a bit of time, while at the same time being assued that you did not miss out on anything of interest.

Nobody now. Used to be Momo & Bobbytits, but Momo's not on ignore now & Bobbytwit (in that incarnation anyway) is gone.
