That may be but I don't think that the Asian population of Birmingham has increased by 250% in 7 years.

I lived there for a couple of years 1998 - 2001.
Taught in the heart of the city, lived there. Hated it.
It was horrible then and might be worse now.
It wasn't so called "immigrants" that made it bad it was the complete and utter lack of human kindness, and inate despair.
On the streets, in the schools, the pubs, anywhere you went people seemed scared and, consequently aggressive.
Hopefully it's changed for the better now.

Sorry Jet. Here in the UK we don't have the obsession with lefties and righties and country stealing that you on the other side of the Pond have. It's quite ironic that the citizens of a country consisting completely of immigrants have the gall to lecture us on immigration.

My job takes me into small businesses every day, many of them owned by British Muslims. I once asked one of them about the 'why don't you dob in the extremists' question. He pointed that he was a shopkeeper with a wife and two kids and knew just as many muslin extremists as I did.
