I suppose I've been discriminated against from time to time. The hi-so crowd, the ones who think they're better than us because they have a little bit of money. The girls on the MRT who won't even glance in my direction. I try not to let it bother me.

However, it's nothing --- I mean NOTHING compared to what I had to deal with in Korea. Those people are the most racist fucks I've ever met on the planet. I always got nasty stares whenever I'd walk down the street with a Korean girl. Everyone on the subway refuses to look at you (except for little kids and teenagers). Old geezers shouting "Americans go home!" as I walk home from dinner. Korean "princesses" (yes, there's an actual Korean word for this term) who turn their nose at the dirty foreigner, refusing to date whitey because they don't want us to dirty up the last "pure blood" Korean race. The list goes on.

Yeah, it could be a lot worse here. I'm glad it isn't.

Songthaew drivers are beneath contempt in Pattaya and only fit for live target practice at the range there. Their views are as valid and interesting as those of a dead cockroach.
