i think it's the inevitable result of the forum growth.

this place used to be tiny and all exclusive.

it was set up by trolly type folk that weren't welcome anywhere else.

DD has done a surprisingly good job of making it a popular place to be.

short of laying down the law and bannings, i don't think you can really stop the flow.

There's always a price to pay when things grow bigger, maybe that's what's happening

It is 'normal' that people register and have a snoop around, then stay or leave.

TD is a particularly difficult place to get one's bearing, when I first came across it, it seemed full of in-jokes and lots of nonsense, without the wealth of informative picture threads there is now.
It takes a while to feel part of it.

True enough, when I started it was a rough ride, but the waves calmed down and I found a place here, that I enjoyed. For some reason, that feeling is going away little by little every day, can't explain why, and it feels weird

Too many mods (not accusing anyone here) & people treating this place as a plaything, with the likes of Erco, PP, etc & whoever else they pretend to be giving it all that shit, while the majority of posters want to enjoy TD in the same way as most of us do with company down the pub.

When you've got two or three jokers polluting every thread with bullshit, it's like an annoying, pissed farang, who gets on the stage in a gogo bar - they think they're great & their mates think it's hilarious, but the end result is customers leaving the bar.

If it wasn't for the handful of mates I have on here, I wouldn't bother.

That's just my opinion.
