On the "Accidents in Thailand" thread i can look at everything on it except page 5, everytime I try to look at it I get an "IE error and have to close" notice,, so something is wrong with that page, but I dont know what it could be.

It could be one of DD's embedded videos? I don't open threads I know to contain his embedded vids because they cause my browser to crash. I've tried all the fixes to no avail.

Yup, I have the exact same problem. Seems to be related to the number of vids embedded rather than just the fact of embedded vids.

I didn't know either, so I tried about 6 times and everytime I got to page 5 it would popup and then close, so OK then, thanks guys..

If your browser is set to open multi media automatically and you hit a page with a few vids on it, they all try to open, your browser don't like that does it

yeah, there's about 20 pictures and 3 vids on that page, so it is pretty heavy browser wise.

Never opens no vids unless I click em, so I don't know about that or what to do about it either, cept don't look at page 5 no more.

I have had a long career of cruising porno sites, which are loaded with vids and pics and have never had my browser crash.

Methinks the DD method is faulty.

Our pages are really heavy multimedia wise, we are working on the precept that bandwith is getting cheaper and faster every few months, so some pages maybe a bit heavy now, but in 6 months time they wont be considered anything, most websites post thumbnails, we do the big stuff, in 6 months to a year most websites will have to change all their shite cos people aint gonna be interested in thumbnails, we started the forum as we wanted to continue, leading in multimedia, we won't have to go back on threads to change pictures from thumbnails to normal size pics, they are already there and we have a couple of threads left that cause browser problems at this time, in 6 months they wont.

I check every heavy thread with 2 pcs and 3 browsers, yeah ok the threads are heavy now, in 3 years time they wont be considered so when other sites bring up the size of their stuff.
