    Marmite the Dog

    Sorry, Marmers, I couldn't resist.

Background: Marmite and his three siblings were abandoned...All four (were ill). 2 died, but Marmite and his sister did not seem to get the disease as badly. They recovered and have no signs or symptoms of the illness now.

Features: Marmite...is big, heavy, stocky and has big paws. He has a short black coat.

Character: Marmite is an absolute sweetheart. He’s affectionate and playful, yet will be docile & quiet in new situations, such as going in a vehicle or being caged for a short time. He loves dogs and children. He also loves his food and should be trained very easily. He loves to be stroked & petted and to play.

    Note, edited for clarity.

No worries. It doesn't mention my cuteness though.

D'you mean the other TD dogs? They're all fine, but not up on the adoption site. We're only featuring 12 for adoption & 12 for sponsorship at any one time.

I wouldn't worry about that. I would never send one of our dogs to someone that didn't want them. People have to prove to us that they'd give a good home to the dog & sign an adoption contract. We're very careful about where they go.

How often do you cage your wife? No wonder she is going quiet.

we are through the looking-glass, here, people...

The teams were playing for The Marmite Cup, which was named after Marmite the dog. Toby Speed (a boy with cerebal palsy whose charity the match is in aid of) gets great pleasure from spending time with Marmite, so the trophy was named after him.
