Why do people slag off the repo thread and the lunch thread, but still continue to post on them?

They're both harmless, sometimes even fun, threads. And they're both popular, though admittedly not intellectual enough for some. Funny that some slagging the repo thread off (Kh. Mot) are actually very big posters on there...
