^ Hardly. One of my female instructors could dance almost as well as this :
Dilly's finally coming out; I always thought he was a bit of a shifter...
So for the advocates of drinking we've got a bloke approaching 60 with a myriad of health issues, and the inability to travel in a vehicle, be it an airplane, taxi or ride home from work, without skulling back cans. A bloke in his 60s that sits alone drinking spirits for breakfast every morning between bouts of forum flouncing, and a bloke that went through a marriage breakup and drinks spirits every night between factory shifts and forum flouncing.
Not too convincing, to be honest.
No
Bet that the nice ladies could have educated me some though.
Really liked RSL
At that time still a good anecdote or two from PNG to be told
retorts of my dearth are fast and spurious, once my new goggless fashiomed i'll take light refrain and touch no distilled licker before brekkie.
Thank for such witty and pertinent remark, once youve made the cut you deserve a hat, what a Pithy helmet size would you require we may have spare from the lodger buried under the fawlty extension. Are you still 8 inches or a 7 and three quarters since retirement?
Well you know BLD, Its funny in that EdTard mentions those folks as if being 60 is a bad thing. Most do more than he ever did and thats part time. Envy maybe...who knows but lets break down this mid 40 year olds rather pathetic life, shall we? I mean a bloke mid 40's, been on this site since back in his mid 20's. Life is so unrewarding and boring for him to keep it interesting he has to change nics all the time to feed another Ego and in that time has amassed well over 100K posts combined. Validation and acceptance from TD members means everything for him. This 40 year old Bloke has a lot of repenting to deal with from his questionable life in his 20's early 30's as he posted under those various nics ( I think most of the longer membership audience knows the deal).
Fast forward to now and its the same ol bloke except now he drinks Tea because he has a near death experience from a disease and his meds do not mix with alcohol. fair enough I suppose. But at 40?????. shiiiiiit!! Sad life really. Us older guys have earned our spot where we can relax, enjoy some good bevvies, post on a forum because...well we are older, we have the time. Shouldn't a 40 year old bloke be out socializing with folks and not posting endless pics of some Chinese knock off smart watch, quote himself endlessly or posting screen captures of girls he claims to have known? I think at 40 most of us older guys were living and working all over the world, meeting people, out with friends. This bloke lives an isolated life in a villa. I couldn't imagine living an underachieving unfulfilling life with my hand out waiting for a stipend check each month.
Yeah his life isn't too convincing.
FFS stumpy , you need to shag some ebony princesses from Craigslist before you start belittling Lulu's achievements
Just my two cents, but good for you, Dill!!
I used to drink quite a bit in my 20's and 30's like a big enough partier! Thoughts of barfing out a BKK taxi window on the way to the airport still ring in my head.
However, I drink maybe once a year now, and I feel sooo much better. You will too!
Here is a timeline of what happens when you quit drinking.
And I have nothing against people who drink, I have a drink on special occasions. I also know my brother is a huge binge drinker and has quit now for a month and says he has never felt better, no hacking coughing, no hangover, more energy, etc...
