The otter channel is now on new hosts and should be zipping away....if you still get the offline error it's because the nameservers have not yet migrated, but those people will be in a minority by now. Had to build the place from scratch forum structure-wise and features will be modded as and when I can grab the time.

The doom-mongers have been predicting the end of Ajarn for years, yet I don't remember a time when our membership was ever as high..(never under Marko)...and our stats really don't lie.

It certainly isn't going to die beecause Ijustwannabitch decides to have a hissyfit over imagined trolls and stalkers. Never in Ajarn's history have we had such a serial complainer, with exception of perhaps Smeg.

It wont die Louis. Whoever uttered such nonsense? That said I dont think you are right to lable IJWT as a serial compainer. He drew your attention to a situation that you considered but did very little about and he got the 'ump. But it wasnt only him as other members of the gay community felt the same and fokked off too. Steven merely voiced his concerns. Although I do acknowledge that he slammed the door a bit.

Not moving as much in the rooms I go to....maybe the 3,000 odd is more for the games room and places I don't generally go.

The users online count looks a little low right now I grant you but it's based on the last 5 minutes usage and not the 40 minutes it was set at before...it ebbs and flows...I've seen this place pretty quiet at times too.

Cap, I'm sure IJWB and PB were quite genuinely pissed off at that incident, but until I look at what the facts are I'm not into banning people on demand. The poster in question did get banned but once we were satisfied that it was someone intent on taking the piss. I have no time for crybabies, so if IJWB wants to leave I'll show him the door. No skin off my nose.

IJWB bands this word "troll" around, yet what he means is anyone who disagrees with his viewpoint. Mad Dog has never struck me as a troll, and I've no problem with his contributions over at the otter channel.

I've got no problem where Ajarn is right now...it has it's ups and downs, but is in no danger of dying off. Phil pulls in the punters on the strength of his jobs board and content alone, he's constantly got articles in the Post...we've never had such a high profile, and I guess people want to knock him for that.
