nice...As the morning sun arose over Chiang Mai on 21 January 2006, it shown down upon 15 members, friends and guests of Chiangmai Expats Club who were gathering for a first for their club. The event was organized by CEC Vice President Chuck Boling. At 08:30 AM two (2) vans, including two (2) Thai Guides and Drivers from Wandering Star Travel, headed out from the Chiangmai Orchid Hotel for a day trip to Doi Inthanon.
Upon arrival at the summit of Doi Inthanon everyone was equally excited at the beautiful views they were viewing. The weather had co-operated to the maximum with a crystal clear and blue sky. The temperature, upon arriving at the summit was great, just right for a light jacket or sweater. This is Thailand’s highest point reaching 2,565.3341 meters above mean sea level. A short walk through a beautifully wooded area in this same vicinity gave photographers a chance to snap many great pictures.
