Some of the 800+ Harleys gathered in Bangkok on Sunday 25 June 2023

Bangkok Post: Hundreds of Harley-Davidson owners on Sunday gathered in Bangkok to show their loyalty to His Majesty the King on the occasion of his birthday next month.
Ah, that brings back good memories! I used to ride this bike in my late 20's, commuting from Chesham to Harlow and back every day around the M25.
One day, I left the bike at home and went to work by car. My English wife called me and asked the "hypothetical" question of how much I would sell my Gold Wing for. I named an inflated amount and thought no more about it. When I got back home the bike was gone! My wife had sold it to the gardener....
Her excuse was that she had known me for many years, and for all those years when I was riding motorbikes, I had never had a bad accident. Therefore by selling my bike, she was saving me from a bad accident! (sounds more like Thai female logic!).
Anyway, I'm still riding motorbikes. I've been repairing the lights on my 150cc ZingZang Chinese special, since when i bought it last week for $300, the turn and brake lights were not working. A few hours of fault-finding, run some new wires and all lights are working again. The ride from my home to Luang Prabang is very enjoyable, as is the short trip up to Kuang Si waterfall.
Groping women when you're old is fine - everyone thinks you're senile
New Triumph Speed 400 and Scrambler 400 X in 2024
According to Triumph, the Speed 400 will be made in three places to start: By the Bajaj factory in India, and also by Triumph’s two production facilities in Thailand and Brazil.
Features a ride-by-wire throttle. It also comes with switchable traction control, as well as ABS both front and rear, provided by Bosch. A torque-assist clutch also comes fitted as standard. Triumph’s all-new liquid-cooled, fuel-injected, 398cc single-cylinder TR-series engine, which makes a claimed 39.5 brake horsepower at 8,000 rpm and 27.6 pound-feet of torque at 6,500 rpm.

I know nothing of scramblers, but that looks like damn fun 2-stroke project to kill or maim meself (and possibly others) with.![]()
Maybe as old as 78.
Rear suspension, MonoCross, came back then.
But I don't really know.
If it runs ok, it's a cheap classic and thais loves old classic design
Got papers ?
No ?
Don't
Bikes in Thailand are damn cheap. Hard to argue with the price of this classic. Its free. With papers.
In Western Canada, someone would ask $6-$700for this. Granted I am looking right now and prices seemed to have settled down. I was looking a year or 2 ago and it was insane. Any old beater was nearly $1000.

Someone must be switching VIN numbers. This bike is advertised as a 1996 Suzuki TS125. This ? a 96? Looks like a 76

A 90ies model would have had monoshock.
70ies wouldn't have been watercooled
Probably not original.
Or maybe it's an Indian![]()
It is not completely original obviously. The 2 stroke Suzuki engine has been replaced by a 4 stroke water cooled Honda Sonic engine.
Compare to this 1978 model machine.
