Not sure what kind but I think maybe an Akita, bigger than a Eurasier. Very nice natured and agreeable dog vibe.

A Hells Angel I knew back in the day had two trained Akitas outside his bar in the Amsterdam coffee house/red light District.

Awesome beasts and friendly as hell with the customers, but they could protect the owner in a flash.

Shearing sheep the old fashioned way. Couldn't believe how close he was getting to it's skin. He's done this a few times. (from our Armenia hike last month)

Around here one thing that marks the changing seasons is the colour of the paddy fields as the rice ripens. Mostly sticky rice in these parts. Perhaps one or two more weeks before cutting starts. The farmers are hoping for no late storms this year.
