:) those fookin toilet rolls have about 50 sheets / roll, the only surprise she'll get is how quick she gets through them, oh and the pie you forgot to pick up from her bed when she lays on it.

I get to fly back on Sunday, 9 days early. Let's hope the Thais let me in (unlike the Indians) and the plane is less than half full...
So where can you pick up these face face masks? Does swampy have them?
It would be cheaper to go to a WW2 memorabilia shop and get a gas mask.
Well the motorway to Derby was very quiet, was 4am though:)
Its been quite all day, more cyclists on the road than cars.
Btw that should be my Daily Cheer.
Got immense satisfaction from home tutoring my youngest today.
Well the good news is that i ran out of cider yesterday and am now officially over my mini cider hankering, it did leave its mark however.
Had a couple of hours with 4 others in the allotments this morning after volunteers were asked for to dig up potatoes, onions and leeks for 5 old chaps who have been told to isolate due to age and health concerns and they were worried their earth gold would go to waste.
I can think of better ways to recover from a cider/beer deluge but we had the lot up and delivered, albeit the olds can't touch their goodies til tomorrow. I am not touching my goodies until next weekend as its back to work tomorrow. Still we got some big smiles which was worth it - i am giving myself the afternoon off.
Spent all day isolated in the garden and planted bamboo trees all around the parameter of the rear garden to block out nosey neighbours in a few years. Should have done it years ago.
A job well done.
My electric bike arrives today!!
^Sweet! What kind?
I bought beautiful flowers today, it was the first day I saw tulips for sale in the grocery store. I bought one and also bought one for my 85 year old aunt who is alone. Also did her groceries for the lady who is like another mother to me. Feels good to do good things for others.
I can pee.....!!!!! YA-FUCKING-HOO
Regular and normal function has returned
:bananaman:
Bit of a arduous struggle for a while.
All is well. And all will be.
Will be coming home soon.
:)
^ Get well soon Jeff:)

A thread about joy and happiness on Teakdoor??? How f'kin ridiculous.
The wife has been whinging (nothing unusual in that...) about me going out and the risks of Covid-19, and I have generally stayed home and avoided crowds, people..., but, today, popped to the shop and had a couple of beers with a couple of friends. Out at 5pm, back by 8pm with the shopping, jobs a good 'un. :)
Decided to watch a couple of Top Gear Specials, chose "Africa" and "Vietnam" which are probably my favourites alongside "Bolivia". Joy is in my world, interspersed by pasting "and on..." and with the slim hope of Betts dying his pooch rainbow coloured, i know if i had that rug i'd be typing dylon on amazon faster than Leo can reply to a post.
Well i never said it had to be personal but in these dark times it great to hear some positive news - they don't make em like they used to....
Coronavirus: Captain Tom Moore raises more than £8m for NHS
https://teakdoor.com/images/imported/2020/04/503.jpg
A 99-year-old army veteran who has raised more than £8m for the NHS said the fundraising has been "completely out of this world".
Tom Moore aimed to raise £1,000 by completing 100 laps of his Bedfordshire garden by Thursday.
"Every penny that we get, they [the NHS] deserve every one of it," he said, as the total exceeded the £5m mark.
Mr Moore began raising funds to thank the "magnificent" NHS staff who helped him with treatment for cancer and a broken hip.
With the aid of a walking frame, he hoped to walk 100 laps of the 25-metre (82ft) loop in his garden in Marston Moretaine, in 10-lap chunks, before his 100th birthday.

I found my missing remote control sandwiched inbetween two books on a shelf:)
A joyous moment!
Just how many days did the kids get a laugh out of you wandering around turning the place upside down? I only mention this because one of my darlings decided it would be fun looking through passports and decided to hide mine, not my Mrs, mine and one week before we were due to fly. I severely impressed upon him just how close he'd come as a 10 year only to spending every summer and other holiday with the Auntie he so loved .... love her she has never had kids. She doesn't get them and treats them like pets; its water, food, bed and what the fuk else do you expect from me.:)
I don't reckon it was done intentionally.
I've taken no chances and gaffa takes it to a house brick , just to be on the safe side :)
Traumatic week it was...
Well, this is a turn up for the books...work is saying that I can be paid about 36%/month instead of unpaid holiday. Free and paid for it, life just got better.
^ Nice.....Have you had to give up all your holidays with that?
Well blow me down with a feather, went out for drive today for essentials...like sand and on the radio was news that the insurer Admiral are going to refund all policy holders a £25 refund.
from their website..every little helps......
A £25 refund will be automatically given to all customers in the coming weeks for each car and van which was covered with us on 20 April 2020, a total of 4.4m vehicles.
A £110 million payout. They must be saving a lot of money by significantly reduced claims for vehicle repairs.
FIL is getting some government cash, because he has some farms ! TIT.
I dare say, they are the first to break ranks and now the rest will feel the heat. I switched to them as they
group your car & house ins in one and on switch i saved 45% and over three years i have checked them separately each renewal and they are still over 30% cheaper.
Regular and normal [whatever that is] 12-15 second streams - going on three weeks.
Feels rather decent to be back to my old self.
Seem to be outta the woods for good.
:chitown:
Some positive some negative stuff.. Got some money from the gov't, found out I am definitely paying taxes on that.. so I should set aside $200-$300 from each check.
Also paid back most of my debts recently with that money, and bought a few things. A pair of Asics running shoes and a bluetooth speaker so I can hear what is coming out of my laptop. Applied for some non-teaching job, and just got a call today, so I'll see if I'll be working again.
After a near two year delay the boat has sailed, so onwards and upwards to the next and final two - once this COVID smog has cleared. :)
Just reading my twitter feed.
Good news on the virus front from the UK.Priti Patel announces shoplifting is down during the lockdown.
Then she is reminded most of the shops are closed ,lots of retweets out there at the moment Piers Morgan doesn't sound very impressed by the fantastic news.
^ you need to shout more, the White Noise is making you indistinct from the usual Stoker dribble :)
A & E have fuck all to do and blaming it on covid 19, Carry on clapping:)
