You call this "worked up"?
Reality check for the multi-nic
Valid question, though - why do you post your Brexit crap in a daily cheer thread as well?

Well i am cheering on British car manufacturing, something you are clearly jealous of. Its sad really, the closest your adopted country has come to transport is adding merino wool to shitty over priced trainers that climatologists who are overpaid Govt employees espouse. :)
My daily cheer is that I made a Welsh Lamb stew for under a quid and it fed four people, damn delicious and empty bowls all round.
It's quite amazing how you feel you can tell . . . anything while you're clearly soused . . . but carry on.
Oh yes, I can see that . . . being German there is a lot to be jealous about British car manufacturing . . . oh, hang on. Nah.
Keep talking nonsense, you're very good at it.
That's a daily cheer . . . and how did you do all that for under a pound? Did you not use lamb?
Erm nope, I would be illegal driving if that were the case, but the good news is i have arrived safe and sound - that is a cheer.
Ah German now, that explains a great deal. Very little cheer. always serious and mostly angry upon waking. You know what they say, a new day and new country to conquer:)
Found out this morning that hand sanitiser is a great de-icer:)
Bogon... no just buy a Ford or a BMW as they have heated screens.
Didn't your palms and nails get fooking cold once you'd applied the sanitiser and started scraping, don't use your bank card (that is a tip). Just deploy the Dlllette Defroster.
Delighted to find out that a friend is up the duff.
Ed: This is great, a friend is up the duff.
Editta: by you?
Gotta love a sense of humour. :)
Congratulations to you both, I expect Luigiettamond will be delighted to have a sibling. Saturdays getting dragged around abandoned buildings won't be the same. :) Someone will probably ram a load of parked cars when they read the news.
On line ordering in Thailand really is the dogs bollix.
Just did a tops order, got a slot for same day delivery (3 hours) for free (6K baht order).
Realized I had forgotten ground coffee ( a morning must have), went back on line, ordered some, paid for same day delivery (60 baht) and 45 minutes later a grab delivery motorbike pulled up and passed over the coffee.
Fucking brilliant.
A year in and the visa needed renewal. I woke this morning wondering this would end up in the moan thread or the cheer thread, Immigration always seems like a lottery.
I recently trotted off to Immigration for my 90-Day report, which I had done online but couldn't get the result because according to my browser the security certificate on the Immigration https site had expired. It seems they had overlooked renewing it, which is ironic in the context of what happens if you forget to renew your visa. I used the visit to show all my paperwork for the annual renewal and to make sure I had a list of exactly what was required - we all know the requirements can vary from place to place and from day to day.
So this morning I stopped by the bank, got the letter and statement history and made a withdrawal to demonstrate the account is active today. First problem: the statement total is different from the bank book balance this morning. (Well, it would be, you wanted me to make a transaction and update the passbook this morning.) After discussion the boss agreed to accept a copy of the tansaction slip alongside the staement. Hoop jumped through.
All the documents are in order.
Where is the TM30? (Me: It was done a year ago on the App, as you personally advised us to do. There isn't a paper copy. Him: Okay, but it isn't on my system, I can show you.) There's nothing on his system, which he explains might be because there are separate systems and the App still aint working. So the gf filled out an undated TM30 request and the boss approved it all. No penalties. Final hoop, nimbly leapt through.
The boss sternly examined all the documents for about 20 seconds and nodded her approval. Blue rubber stamps and red rubber stamps thumped their ways about the paperwork. He gave me a new 90-Day report to sign and I am good to stay in Thailand for another year.
I passed over two fresh notes and 'forgot' to wait for my change. Everybody happy.
"O frabjous day! Callooh! Callay!”
He chortled in his joy.
I got my COVID jab yesterday
^ Have you moved oop north yet, Toots?
Am i moving North is more pertinent, or am i moving further South - the insurmountable barrier that is the M4 coupled with incomprehensible accents is a difficult obstacle.
Why not just stay where you are? A nice enough area that you seemed well settled in.
Liquidating and downsizing and moving nearer to family. Being a landlord is a pain in the arse also.
Annnnyyyyway,
Spring is here and with it BBC Gardeners World which is great on a Sunday morning. Over a year ago they had a slot featuring a lady called Sue Kent who lives in Wales and has a large garden to look after. Nothing unusual in that but she was a Thalidomide baby and has tiny malformed hands, its truly amazing seeing her garden and today they have re-visited her.
If you can, look it up.
You can look her up on Google and the Beeb has her episode.
Was at a religious reading group a few months ago, and made good friends with one religious reader. One read led to another read, and what do you know, next morning we're still reading together.
Anyway, out of the blue, radio unsilence.

Better find a fumigator mind, haven't been there in a few weeks.
Religious readers, all that repressed sexual frustration.
Free ride from the airport,
Free place to stay,
I bet she's on her period when she gets there :)
There is a tinge of free aircon and pringles to it. :)
Them Nigerians are a religious bunch.
Woken up saw Timmy wasn't posting about me for once, turns out it was a dream, all is well with the world and its going to be c18o C. Wish i had a dog.:)
Sitting at my table, looking out through the open doors, when a Purple Sunbird flew in. It stopped mid-air, the way they can, in the middle of the room, took one look at me and did a 180 on the spot before leaving as it had arrived.
Life is made up of little moments.
(I see one from time to time around the garden. It never looks purple to me. Sometimes metallic black and sometimes a bit bottle-green and black. I cannot find another sunbird that it could be and if anyone has suggestions I'd like to know.)

Life is made up of little moments.
Life is made up of little moments.
Posting on the 'Door each day.
Life is made up of little moments.

Typing on my keyboard as it flies away.

Just clearing my work up, and have the Friday feeling.
Spotify couldn't find Shutree, so making do with The Cure - Friday I'm In Love.
Have a great weekend pop-pickers
Despite an incredibly irritating heat rash all across my nether regions, today I keep catching myself walking around the house and garden whistling with a big smile on my face. Even the gardener's been giving me funny looks... he's used to me grouching and picking him up on shoddy 'work'.
Sure, the dogs' health have improved and I have a home for more puppies, and the daughter will be on holiday after today but that doesn't really explain such an unexpected buoyant mood. Almost euphoric I would say.
Anyway, I have no time to ponder these things... I'm busy today. The wife has asked me to help her pack as she goes away tomorrow for a few days with her family over Songkran.
Wow... today just got even better!

Think I'm gonna dial out of this thread for 3-5 days.
Well if Mendip follows Ootai's suggested cream there might me an interesting post or two when she returns.
Yay :party43:
