If you're gonna have a heart attack, have it in Norway.
The hotels have defibrillators with receptionists who know how to use them. Quite reassuring after some of the takeaways I've been eating.

Went for a bit of a stroll.
Parked up at CM train station, then hit the road to Lamphun train station, then the 14:16 back.
Perhaps not the best walking environment, if I'm honest.
But some nice spots along the way.
Catch this badboy on the flipside.

Nice wee wegetable patch.
Meh.
Prepped for Dill's morning weigh-in.
Haa baaaht.
Let's go!

Yes, I'm glad you made that clear!
I've been promising my daughter for ages to do a train trip from Korat to Bangkok and you've motivated me to make it a definite, once I get back home.
To be honest I think I'm more keen on the idea than she is, but that's the great thing about kids... you can do stupid shit and it doesn't look weird.

Go fish.
A pair of durado around 80 km off the coast of Angola. Beautiful fish.
These fish pair up. I once watched a couple of ABs catch a durado from a small dinghy just off the boat we were working on. The fish's mate followed the hooked fish up to the dinghy as it was reeled in and kept nudging the dinghy it after it's mate had disappeared. It was very sad. Kind of makes you aware of the affect of an inconsequential meal...
^ What was the worst part... flying sideways?
All charter flights are torture, but scheduled ain't much better unfortunately.
Welcome to the Chinese city of Luang Prabang...
Actually, I'll withhold my opinion until someone tells me what the Chinese words say....
This is a newly-erected wooden arch on the main street in the old town centre of Luang Prabang. I think it is a temporary structure and when it was under construction I assumed that it might be as the finishing line for the marathon race next month. But I couldn't understand why it was being built by Chinese workers, and why 3 Lao policeman sat at a nearby shop and watched them all day.
So what do the Chinese characters say? Anyone? And how the fcuk do I get normal-size pictures, instead of these thumbnails?
Groping women when you're old is fine - everyone thinks you're senile
