Did you know that the speed of impact is after the rider has slammed on the brakes before smashing into whatever? The rider could have been going 200km/h, put the anchors on, and smashed into a car at 30km/h

The 130km/h accidents just show that either the rider did not brake or was going well over the speed limit at the time of impact.

Maybe in some cases. But this is mostly a bunch of hooey.

The riders you see zipping around at high speed aren't the ones causing or getting in accidents. It is the dopey inexperienced ppl who don't even know how to ride that cause the accidents.

"Zipping" around at high speed causes fewer accidents.

Lets see what Google says Reddit - Dive into anything

Hi, recently I had a couple of discussions about riding safety and I'm for arguments for both opinions. So, in outline, those opinions are:

It is safer to ride about 20 km/h faster than cars. You are more focused and concentrated and, as far as your position relative to other cars always changes, you're also more noticeable. You have more adrenaline which helps you to think and act faster. It is important to note that when you say you're more noticeable that's also not because you are going fast. It's because going the speed of traffic means you are a lot more likely to be sitting in cars blind spots for long and extended periods of time. This makes you easy to forget about and harder to keep track of.

I don't try go nearly 20 kph over. I want to be going just slightly faster than most other traffic. On a bike you have much better visibility in front of yourself than behind and to the sides. By going just a little faster than most traffic, most of the things I need to keep track of are in front of me (instead of monitoring the guy in the next lane that wants to pace me, and the jackass riding my back wheel...). Yes, occasionally someone will pass me, but if they're going faster than I am they'll just cruise by and be gone. If I'm going faster than traffic, most of my scanning can be ahead of me, and it's easier to keep track of cars in approaching.

Are you really using a random Reddit post where he uses "You have more adrenaline which helps you to think and act faster." as an argument to ride fast and break the speed limit by 20km/h?

Just to make sure, we are talking about riding on public roads and not the Cannonball Run film?

And, due to their inexperience, they never exceed the speed limit, right?

If you were a good motorcyclist, you would make allowances for other road users, and for the unexpected. It is obvious you have learned nothing since you posted a clip of you racing through the minor back roads of Pattaya.
