How in the heck should I know. Hopefully I'll be breathing - alive.

No guarantees on that though.

I remember when I was in my senior year in high school. The Counseler/therapist had to call every senior in and ask:

"What will you be doing/where will you be in 5 years?"

My answer: I don't know.

Some people know. They plan ahead. They have a plan. Better for some; worse for others.

I've never been that way.

My long term goal in 25 years is to be in South East Asia retired or working by choice part time.

In ten years, I can't tell ya.

^ True, MM. I always envied the kids who knew they were going to be a dancer, a teacher, a whatever. I had too many interests and a changing set of goals. Still do.

Unless I get off my Butt and do something, then basically I'll still be doing nothing. Hard to break a five year habit though. I don't feel bored too often.

Might do a TEFL course. Might do a Thai language course. Get a not too demanding job educating? If I get well bored, might even go back into banking, but I doubt it.

I would guess I'll be living somewhere else in Thailand by then though.

You've got 2 degrees - for heavens sake don't be an English teacher.

Be a banker again.

My wages as a Bkk based English teacher amounted to almost exactly 1% of what I had earned as a banker previously. What a mistake that was.

I never would have predicted that I'd end up spending 26 years on Saipan. I never would have predicted that I'd end up spending over two years in the dump I inhabit now. I hesitate to predict, but if I'm still here in six months I certainly won't be around in ten years.
