Why would a person who has met me on only two occasions - and who bought me a drink on our last meeting - state on a public forum that he doesn't like me?

I know Sir Burr to be a very kind, polite gentleman with impeccable manners, who donates generously to charities and even brings treats home for folks in his neighbourhood when he goes overseas. These remarks are very unlike him.
