Thailand is facing a major fork in the road, and if Burma starts rising as Thailand falls, that may shake their confidence as a nation.

If they keep closing down all the street sellers I won't be real Happy.
Now they want the sellers off Silom in the friggin Night.![]()

I bought two new pairs of Fisherman pants out at Chat U Chat markets the other day.
All that room gives me the horn, My Handbag loves it.
I Never wear them on Silom though, it would send all the Poovs into a frenzy and I could be pack Raped.
Could wear them on Sunday though, that's my Gay day.![]()
Thailand will eventually be dragged kicking and screaming into the 21'st century. The Junta will actually help in the long run. The longer they stay in power, the less likely they are to stage another coup. Once everyone, including the junta realise how economically illiterate they are, no one will want to try it again.
Welcome aboard the forum, Duke...
The Junta (AKA *the military) are the instigators of said coup (current and previous) so while they are at the helm, yes - certainly, you are less likely to have another coup...
The main reason why they stage coups, is:- to extract/re-direct (steal) money from the system with their grubby mits...dry rape the rice farmers of their profits, alter laws in favor of their scum-bag cronies in big corporations - to receive kick-backs...
Ask any random Thai, if every successive government (with no exceptions) if they think the PM and almost all, politicians have been misappropriating funds...
It's better if you can ask them in Thai... if you can speak Thai, don't use the word steal (ka-moy) replace it with "eat" (gin)...
All of them "gin" money.. eat money - just to varying degrees..i.e. some more, some less.
It is a Thai truism...![]()

I think Ken money would be better understood than gin as in gin and tonic. Keep in mind this coup was for an entirely different reason. The military wants to be in power when the inevitable finally happens. Simple, just biding time.Originally Posted by NZdick1983

It's quite funny that "phonetic" isn't spelled 'fonetic'.Originally Posted by NZdick1983
