My daughter's last Christmas (and next Birthday and probably next Christmas... etc...) present was a laptop of similar price with 32 of these RAM, and a really fancy graphics card, not that I understand these things but my Welsh mate is pretty well IT enabled and I took his advice.

This is more than she needs right now and way higher spec than my work computer, but my thinking was it'll get her through the next four years of Art GCSEs and A Levels. So hopefully it'll be the last computer I'll ever get her, after that it'll be down to her.

Not that much different to me actually, I left school 4 years before I could get into a pub and joined the forces 1 1/2 years before I was legally allowed to drink.
