They had one called the tulip. A wooden bulb with 3 holes in it. Bulb goes up the jacksie, screw is turned, 3 hooks come out, piercing the inner rectum. Rope is attached and the tulip bulb is removed at speed.

    You'd need some antiseptic cream.

That has created a very unwelcome mental picture that I might never erase.

The Tulip, a famous beginners training device... &, why is it in a torture museum instead of a fun bondage club?

Most people are able to clean chopping boards the normal way. The hinge will catch extra food scraps and need extra cleaning.

    Bogon Tip #953

You see that big hole? That's where you push your food into the pan or a plate when you have finished chopping.

Most people won't be using it just to funnel monster munch into their gobs when pissed.

I always wondered why chopping boards needed handles.

^^ That plane spotter guide would be quite handy in the Bristol area of the UK.

I bought some very flexible boards. I wasn't sure how well they'd stand up to daily use. A year in, they are fine. They make it easier to pour chopped veg into a pan, like that folding one.

(This place gets more and more like Mumsnet.)
