^ True, but what information could they gain from an 'Alexa'? To be fair, I don't really know the technical aspect of the things - but I'm sure Baldrick could tell us - IN LAYMANS TERMS.
Hang on . . . are you turning into a Luddite?????? That is very un-KW-like.
change your "wake word" to klondick
5 ways to secure your Alexa device | Tom's Guide
Bastard . . . but at the moment you can only have Amazon, Alexa and Echo. Bastard . . .
Tah!
Sounds plausible, I guess.
You should get at least one - they are brilliant . . . not that expensive at between $60-$80 for the newer models
Did anybody doubt that our dear old hero was going to come good and bust Barbie's molestation interrogation wide open...
Hans-Ulrich to Barbie: Ve have vays of making you talk...
Action Man (appearing from his hiding place): Great because my voice-box pull-string is broken...
Fritz tries to make a run for it for when his ghastly game is rumbled (sorry best running pose I could manage - not easy to balance these 1/6 figures)
But not fast enough for the lightning reflexes of the best of British
Come and feel the strength of these gripping hands Barbie...
(Barbie is on high heel tip toes so she is taller than action man which spoils the moment a bit)
I am not sure if this is the end of the story for Barbie and our well loved hero Joe
Just look at these lightning bolt lapels. The dreaded Schutzstaffel are here in the rank of a formidable Sturmbannfuehrer...
The SS skull and crossbones cap badge is enough to put the shivers up the arse of even the most redoubtable Action Man
There is an unmistakable look of steely menace in those eyes. He has found the original Palitoy packaging and is on the trail like a blood hound...
Our hero may have to dig deep here...
I bet Barbie is getting wetter than an Otters pocket
^The plot thickens Joe... I need to find me a hypodermic needle-toting nazi Ingrid on the interwebs
In the meantime, knowing that our hero's reputation precedes him, the cautious Sturmbannfuhrer has called back to base and summoned the support of his more experienced Obersturmbannfuhrer who has turned up with 100 SturmbannSchnitzels at his commend.
Don't be fooled by the grandfatherly twinkle in those eyes Barbie. That is not a packet of Werther's Originals in his pocket.
Together they are hatching a plan which may involve releasing the giant carnivorous echidna...
Action Man your girl needs you and we need you... Don't mess with the SS my eagle-eyed friend... Go hard or go home...
First watch ive owned for over 40 years using it to check my alcohol levels are okay.
Not sure how I managed this - but a while back I was in Power buy and could not believe the price of the 65 inch TVs - so I got one for less than 30k. When they fitted it, I found out it didn't work with my Denon Home Theater Setup, so I gave that to my son for his studio along with - along with 2 x 450 watt Bose Speakers.
Expensive TV.
I never got round to getting a new speaker setup for the living room, so this week, with the wife away, I thought I'd go out and buy something. I don't see the point in a home theater setup any more and I thought - just go out and find a great bluetooth speaker you can use with TV, Phones, CD player - something versatile. I gave myself a 20,000 Baht budget and got this:
A bargain at only 150,000 Baht - for one stand-alone bluetooth/optical speaker with built in AMP.
Wife is back tomorrow - at least there will be good music at my funeral.
Finally got to visit a shop that wasn't just selling food and drink this week.
Also a rather pretty Japanese tea set that will be gathering dust for eternity..
Went a little crazy with the impulse buy and bought a giant teddy bear that's bigger than my youngest..
Shalom
Twenty quid for the tea set, Joe? A bargain. I'd buy it!
I went to Tesco this afternoon and saw this T-shirt in a stall outside.
I haven't partaken in well over 20 years, but I have a good friend who has... and who I also suspect of growing on her land near Udon Thani.
The perfect present!
100 Baht... bosch... no problem!
^ 555 that is one thing you can never legislate for in Thailand, the sheer weirdry of what you'll come across in the most unlikely settings; part of what makes the place tick.
^ I'm gonna have an early night now and watch 'Ted' in bed. It's strange how things work out.
Just wondering if it's suitable for my nearly 10 year-old or not.
Probably not.
