To my knowledge none are supplied with any CAD software.

I use Solidworks because it is on my work laptop but also use Fusion 360 on my personal laptop, it is free for "hobbyists".

    ^Very tasty Dirk.

I got a little model of Adolf's dog Blondi so that Oberst Rudel can take it for walks in between eastern front ruski-busting ground attack missions.

(I am not sure about the mechanic on the wing of Hans-Ulrich's Stuka. He looks a bit light in the loafers)

And, second, a true impulse buy... bought on the spur of the moment for giggles when it popped up on EBay while I was searching for a replica of a WWII Tiger 1 Panzer.

Remote control tank with remote rotating turret, engine running noise, firing button with flashing muzzle, shell burst sound effect and tank jumps back 1cm on each fire as if from recoil.....

You can buy 2 and have tank battles where a detector on each tank can detect a direct hit from the other and one of the 4 red 'life' lights at the back goes out with each hit and the tank is disabled when no lights are left.

I will play with this one for a week before deciding whether to get a second one for guests.

A game of strip-poker tank-battle sounds like just the ticket to break the ice at an evening BBQ Strigils

But I will be red-faced if I am whipped at my own game by a girl and stripped of my battle honours on the field and forced to try and drive my tank back to the barracks in shame with only one hand on the controller while holding my nuts in the other

Yeah, but that's where you break the ice completely and make her laugh by having a button which causes the barrel to droop as you slink away.

    ^Lol

It is a ripper toy. I think it is better than any toy I ever got as a kid.

The turret motion is so well done because it is not jerky like you would expect with a toy. It lurches slowly into rotational motion when you press the button and has its own sound effect and the motion slowly dissipates when you let go so it looks like the turret has massive inertia like a real tank.

The headlights come on independently to match whichever track you you have in forward motion. So both come on when you are going in a straight line and they are super bright for night manouevres.

The trickiest trick is trying to rotate the turret while the tank is going in a straight line which requires the use of 2 thumbs and 2 fingers, since the skid control has an independent forward and back rocker control for each track so you need 2 thumbs just to navigate, and then 2 buttons for turret rotation in each direction.

And then even harder is firing while rotating and moving forward in a straight line, requiring another finger.

I was using my thumbs for the skid rockers but since I am a great ape with opposable thumbs that puts all my fingers on the wrong side of the controller. I might need to practice holding the controller in my palms with my thumbs underneath. My fingers won't be able to rock like my thumbs so I will need 4 fingers just for driving plus 2 for turret rotation (2 buttons) plus 1 for the gun - which will require an hyper-dextrous 7 out of 8 available fingers.

Looper dare i suggest you have too much time on your hands.

I'd say the answer to your dilemma lies in the fact it took a crew to man a tank, you need a couple of dexterous helpers.

    or

get a 9 year old to show you

^Would be a canny investment I reckon Dirk

First live combat test for the little tank that could.... I had just set up a bit of target practice for manouevres...

...when who should pop up out of the blue after barely an SMS in 2 months but the long lost Miss Mini Minx with only 10 minutes air raid warning as dusk drew in

She is so tiny that she makes the tank look extra large which is a bonus

However, being a girly, she found the cute echidna target more worthy of Wechat publicisation

^Looks very cool PH but that listening technology spooks me out.

My most recent impulse buy goes up a scale... Attack of the 50 foot Hans-Ulrich (I need to spend less time on EBay)

The Knights Cross has Oak Leaves but no Swords Diamonds or Gold yet, so this (along with the Leutnant insignia) places this Rudel circa 1943.

He has captured Barbie impersonating a member of the Wehrmacht Heer in her uniform on the Eastern front and is taking her for questioning.

I shudder to imagine what degrading interrogation methods she may be forced to endure back at Herr Rudel's gaff...

Jeepers, you play a dangerous game...I hope your front gate is securely locked. How many times have you had multiple girls turn up at the same time?

I don't chase the ladies if I have got a GF on the go Willy for fear of physical injury to my precious gentleman's particles

The Minx is a bit of a wild card with her random meandering appearances so I will be playing it cautiously for a while until I see which way the wind is blowing

Fear not Mendip for Barbie's flower-like trooser-less virginal honour may yet be saved.

...a very dear old personal friend from the late 70's has appeared on the horizon...

Oh yes... Now we are talking....

Exactly like the one I remember as a kid right down to the smallest detail including the fact that his voice-box string has been over pulled and will no longer retract, rendering him mute.

Where have you been all these years my heroic and faithful brother in arms...

He comes with 2 stars already filled on the card so I only need 19 more stars to get him a buddy (although the free ones came naked, if I remember correctly, so may not be suitable for a Barbie rescue mission).

Do not lose heart Barbie for some proper British spunk is about to explode onto the scene...

She sounds like a modern hi-tech rip-off of Talking Action Man technology pioneered in the 1970s by Palitoy

I used to have long conversations with my talking action man since he used to say something different each time you pulled the string (I think there were about 6 phrases)

I will try and repair this replacement and see what words of wisdom are spoken
