Kept a look-out for a car for our youngest, she just passed her driving exam and got her license . . . drove by the Honda place, saw this and got it. Had to go through registration, detailing etc . . . she was very happily surprised when she saw this in our garage after picking her and my wife up from the airport today.

Senorita has just chipped in for her 18-year-old daughters first car (I didn't have my own car till I was 31!). She told me she got a 2002 Corolla with 200,000 km on it for .... $5000 I am quietly gutted at what sounds like a rip-off. I offered my services in the selection and haggling stakes last month (I love window shopping for cars) but was roundly rebuffed.


She has also declared this to be defo not a ladies bike Mike. Even with the seat all the way down to the top bar.

She also brought an impulse buy of her own in the form of a pair of rather fetching men's moccasins along with the food drop.

I am not sure how I feel about Peter Alexander's effusively cloying greeting on my new slippers. It makes me feel strangely uncomfortable in a way I cannot quite put my finger on.

I did not know slippers could be so expensive. I think $15 is the highest I have ever paid.

I am bustin a nut doing my anaerobic workout on this bonza bike.

I warm up for 1 minute then do 2 minutes as hard as is physically possible to the extent that I am falling off the bike lying on the garage floor gasping for air at the end of the 180 seconds.

I feel like this is clearing my lungs out and stretching them a bit.

Like a lung workout rather than a leg workout.

That's an unusual workout technique, Looper. But, having said that... it's quite similar to my favourite shagging technique.
