    That, Sir, is a disgrace!

I quite like the Ipswich kit, especially the away kit. But, I didn't realize it was connected with Ed Sheeran - I f'kin hate him; I'm gonna find a stone to crawl under...

Kept a look-out for a car for our youngest, she just passed her driving exam and got her license . . . drove by the Honda place, saw this and got it. Had to go through registration, detailing etc . . . she was very happily surprised when she saw this in our garage after picking her and my wife up from the airport today.

If you're looking for a son, I have a license that expired 6 months ago, and have passable table manners (only start throwing when I'm thrown at first)

As is the new Arsenal kit. They usually have one of the nicest in the PL as they keep it relatively simple.

Multiple ziggyzaggy lines, just no. Combining white and gold together while there's a stronger primary colour elsewhere. No no no.

Tony Adams would be rolling in his grave.

    Looks very nice Hat

Senorita has just chipped in for her 18-year-old daughters first car (I didn't have my own car till I was 31!). She told me she got a 2002 Corolla with 200,000 km on it for .... $5000 I am quietly gutted at what sounds like a rip-off. I offered my services in the selection and haggling stakes last month (I love window shopping for cars) but was roundly rebuffed.

She has also declared this to be defo not a ladies bike Mike. Even with the seat all the way down to the top bar.

She also brought an impulse buy of her own in the form of a pair of rather fetching men's moccasins along with the food drop.

I am not sure how I feel about Peter Alexander's effusively cloying greeting on my new slippers. It makes me feel strangely uncomfortable in a way I cannot quite put my finger on.

I did not know slippers could be so expensive. I think $15 is the highest I have ever paid.

A nice couple of furry ones there Looper.

Is Senorita's daughter in the land down under or back home? If back home, car's keep their value quite a bit. My 2015 Yaris which has done 120000km is still worth 300000baht

Today I did not buy this bicycle.

    Show us your impulse buy-img_20230814_161755-jpg

It caught my eye and the guy said it was for sale used. Original price was 11 selling for 5 and a half

5 and half? I asked for clarification as it looked too fancy to be $550....

Yes, 5.5 thousand... Apparently it was originally $11,000!

I like these utilitarian looking 1x drive train chainsets.

They look freaky with the giant cassettes. That looks like a 50+ low gear ring

Coming from a signage background I have always wanted a sticker cut machine.

Not happy with the prices qouted for a new sticker for my car....

    I bought a machine !

Will have to build a new bench to give it a home but it will sit between my 2 3D printers.

A new Generalfeldmarschall decked out in desert khaki joined the Kitchen Nazis today...

Erwin Rommel commanded the 7th armoured division on their 1940 summer trip across northern France before meeting a worthy opponent in Monty in North Africa as 'The Desert Fox'.

He was a national hero at home and had a complicated relationship with Naziism, never joining the party.

Caught betraying Hitler in the assassination plot in 1944, he ended up being offered a cyanide pill and a state funeral as Hitler did not want the war hero's betrayal revealed to the public.

^I think Ingrid and Greta will be in safe hands with Herr Rommel Joe. He was the most honourable and morally considered military practitioner in the 3rd reich, practicing what he called war without hate. And was highly skeptical of the political aims of Naziism.

I am bustin a nut doing my anaerobic workout on this bonza bike.

    Show us your impulse buy-20230910_213910-jpg

I warm up for 1 minute then do 2 minutes as hard as is physically possible to the extent that I am falling off the bike lying on the garage floor gasping for air at the end of the 180 seconds.

I feel like this is clearing my lungs out and stretching them a bit.

Like a lung workout rather than a leg workout.

That's an unusual workout technique, Looper. But, having said that... it's quite similar to my favourite shagging technique.
