    Trivial Pursuit anyone?

    Trivial Pursuit anyone?
Judging by some of the comments on my Geography thread there seems to be some interest?
Pointless posting answers since there is Google but think it might be fun to increase general knowledge..If interested do not answer; just post another question or two…loved the board game great for educating our family!
So to start off: a few questions:
Off what coast was the battle of Trafalgar and with whom?
In what country was the battle of Waterloo?
    Specifically where is Gallipoli?
Bordering what sea or ocean is Java head.
    Where is Armenia?
Elephant Island is in the Antarctic, why is it famous?

    Cool . . . no googling.

    * Trafalgar - Spanish coast (too general?)
    * Turkey
    * Java Sea ( I know it exists but is the answer the one you're looking for?
    * Between Russia and Turkey, or at least bordering Turkey, hence the 'genocide' of Armenians by Turks
*Elephant seals lived there - maybe still do

    Correct?

You're way off on Waterloo. I know that for certain.

You only gave half an answer for Trafalgar. Was Brits vs French and Spanish.

Sorry. You appear to have skipped the Waterloo question.

The Battle of Waterloo took place in Belgium.

Christopher Columbus was Italian and born in Genoa ( where the cake comes from)

No Googling, just schoolboy history lessons.

My father made me blush when i was about 20.

The question was - What does a stallion have that a gelding hasn't?

I answered "balls", the nasty man wouldn't give me a bit of pie because the answer was "testicles".

We would do all nighter playing trivial pursuit. I love it. They even had a touch screen version in my local pub.

Oh, and my failure of an ex husband who was a bad loser accused me of cheating. Because we had a glass table and he thought i was reading the answers under it!!! Or shuffling through the boxes and choosing the easy questions!! He couldn't admit to himself that his wife was rather more intelligent than himself. His hissy fits were epic!! Like a two year old having a tantrum!! I just loved doiing the little victory dance!!

And i was playing the French version. It's hard enough in English.
