Poloniex got bought out by circle.
    They've got some big vision...

    Looking to the Future
In the coming years, we expect to grow the Poloniex platform beyond its current incarnation as an exchange for only crypto assets. We envision a robust multi-sided distributed marketplace that can host tokens which represent everything of value: physical goods, fundraising and equity, real estate, creative productions such as works of art, music and literature, service leases and time-based rentals, credit, futures, and more.
We believe that the contractual rules around exchange for anything and everything will become increasingly represented in distributed global software, rely on inconvertible distributed shared memory in the form of distributed ledgers, and benefit from the services of global multidimensional marketplaces such as Circle Poloniex. The future of the global economy is open, shared, inclusive, far more evenly distributed, and powerful not only for a few chosen gatekeepers, but for all who will connect.

Was just fucking around on BX and set my first sell order: ditching my OMG @ ฿578 (currently @ ฿563.57).

Got it @ 444 so it's hardly stellar but have been getting a a little bored with these little up/down blips so thought I might as well change some shit up.

Was on the board last few days, but finally dived in with a bunch of BTS for NEO in time for the airdrop Thursday; good long term hold anyway but planning to return to BTS after the drop, so I hope it doesn't take off tomorrow after the ZCL fork.

binance has the biggest range of sh1tcoins to play with - sign up and transfer there in xlm or some such with low fees and then faff about and lose all your stash trying to buy high and sell low

Nothing so complicated, was just bored and arsing around.

I'll lose my stash the traditional way: not knowing what the fuck I'm doing.

    Won't he just though!

Oh well still made a profit. I've stopped checking now that it has gone past 590 though.

It has barely moved in a week and next minute...

So the tool bought some crypos with no intrinstic value, the price of which thus randomly wobbles up and down, and wonders why he can't predict it correctly half the time.

Try tossing a coin a few thousand times and calling the outcome, and you might figure out your problem, you utter moron
He spends his life monitoring a forum for posts by someone he hates just so he can get angry over them and rant about things that have zero impact on his own life to his little gang of sycophants.

And then he’ll turn around and call others ‘obsessive’ and ‘mentally-ill’ and whatnot which in turn gets him exponentially more worked up, angry and ranty.

    Utter fkn nutter!

A large "investment company/international Bank", owns a stake in Circle Internet Financials, who yesterday purchased buying crypto exchange Poloniex.

" Not long after, the catalyst for the surge emerged, in the form of a Fortune report that Circle Internet Financial, a cryptocurrency-focused financial-services firm backed by Goldman Sachs, would announce today that it is buying crypto exchange Poloniex, "a move that immediately makes Circle one of the largest and most influential companies in the industry" and also give the crypto space a much needed seal of approval - and validation - from none other than Goldman Sachs, one of the first firms to adopt cryptocurrencies on the institutional side. While terms of Circle's acquisition of US-based Poloniex, which was formed in Jan 2014, have not been disclosed, Fortune reported that the deal was for about $400 million."

"Circle, a cryptocurrency-focused financial-services firm, will announce today that it is buying crypto exchange Poloniex—a move that immediately makes Circle one of the largest and most influential companies in the industry. Fortune’s Robert Hackett profiles a company that hopes to leverage the technology behind Bitcoin to become the bank of the next century."

thanks ant , it is always nice to see the thoughts of one of the inventors of crypto currencies - they balance well with our financial guru , butterfluffer

but the puzzle is if the coin he is suggesting tossing , is a bitcoin , if so , it adds a whole new complexity to the issue that needs pondering

the gurus with their meandering logic sure make it hard to make sense of this very complex topic , but I suppose that is the lot of us mere mortals

or we could take option (b)

    (b) they are both narcissist fantasists whose only firm grip on anything is that on a tube of lubricant

I’ve invested a small amount of spare cash into something I still personally believe is a bubble waiting to burst for shits ‘n giggles until / if it does. I’ve already pulled out some profit but the whole thing could implode and it wouldn’t matter (though clearly I’d prefer the former).

Meanwhile the ranting loon has blown it out of all proportion into the greatest financial folly in the entire history of financial follies and arsing on about tossing his coins etc.

Anyways, he has always been shit at analogies. Has quite the affinity for melodrama too, the silly old soap-dodger. Everything’s the “dumbest ever” or “fockin funniest thing I’ve ever read” (like anyone believes the angry loon is actually laughing ) right up until the next one is.

Binance is supporting the airdrop, so it saves messing around with transfers, though there's no guarantee they'll support ONT.

A stingy 50% (of 0.2 ONT/NEO) on fork and the rest locked till Q2...but if you did a KYC it'll earn you 1000 ONT and 500 if you gave them your email address at the NEO DevCon.

Oh dear, I left a potential extra couple thousand baht profit on the table (in something you presumably have zero investment in / profit from yourself).

So I gotta ask 'Wes'... Was checking the price and that post really worth the effort?

Because I'm currently valuing your butt-hurt to be worth at least the ฿62 difference.

apparently an uptick in volume of bitcoins being bought with tether (some say dodgy way to prop up bitcoin).

can btc break resistance around 11-12,000?

if so, next stop is 17,400, apparently.
